So Valentine’s Day is upon us. That means chocolates, flowers, and love! There’s no better time than Valentine’s Day (I’m sure there is but for now it’s V-Day, lol) to mix your love for cannabis and your partner together. I personally prefer flower (thc) over flower (roses) but that’s just me!
Cannabis can enhance this special night for you and your partner, whether you choose infused chocolates, dinner, milky bong rips – my personal favorite, old school joints, gummies, whatever your little heart desires to make a romantic weedy night together. You know, all warm and cozy, relaxed with some nice chill tunes playing and maybe even step it up with a bath infused with CBD bath bombs, a cozy movie night, or a nice massage with cannabis-infused oil.
THC infused chocolates or dinners infused can really add to this special night. We will get into some pairings down below to give you some ideas on what pairs best with chocolate and wine.
And if you’re alone this year, like I am, not to fear, you can treat yourself to all these things and have a great night as well. Valentine’s Day is overrated in my book anyways. Lol
So Lets get down to why you really came here….
Choosing Strains for the Occasion and and What Strain Pairs Best
• For relaxation & cozy romance: Indica strains like Violet Vixen, Granddaddy Purple, Critical Kush ,Northern Lights.. Indicas are my go to, I’m an Indica girl all the way, all year anytime of the day.
• For energy & laughter: Sativa strains like Jack Herer, Pineapple Punch, or Strawberry Cough. Just remember Sativas aren’t for everybody, I get racy heart and anxiety, so if you are not sure then go for a Hybrid Strain
• For balance: Hybrid strains such as Wedding Cake, Blue Dream, Lava Cake, Swamp Ass (I actually bought that because of the name and its was Amazing). Hybrids are a great choice if you don’t want couch lock or racing heart, anxiety lol (not everyone gets anxiety or racey heart on sativas, but lots do)
Pairing Cannabis with Wine

- Red Wines: Indica strains are often associated with flavours like berries, spices, and earthy tones, which complement the flavours of the wine.
- Cabernet Sauvignon is dominated by dark fruits such as black currant, black cherry, and plum that pairs well with Afghani or Purple Kush!
- Pinot Noir is a light-bodied red wine that pairs well with Indicas such as Vanilla Kush or Blue Cheese!
- Cabernet Sauvignon is dominated by dark fruits such as black currant, black cherry, and plum that pairs well with Afghani or Purple Kush!
- White Wines: Sativa strains, which often have hints of lemon or lime pair well with citrusy notes in the wine.
- Sauvignon Blanc, a dry white citrusy pairs well with Amnesia Haze or Super Silver Haze!
•Pinot Grigio a versatile crisp dry white wine that pairs well with Lemon Power Haze or Jack Herer!
Please Be careful when mixing THC and Alcohol!!!

Pairing Cannabis with Chocolate
- Dark chocolate & cannabis: The rich bitterness of 70%+ dark chocolate pairs beautifully with spicy or citrusy strains like Tangie.
• Milk chocolate & cannabis: Creamy milk chocolate enhances the vanilla and sweet notes in strains like Gelato or Vanilla Kush.
- White chocolate & cannabis: Best with fruity strains like Blueberry or Grape Ape.
Or Even better, Try making your own CannaButter together and make some cookies or brownies or whatever together!!
Enjoy Responsibly & Mindfully
- Start slow: If combining cannabis with wine, go low and slow to avoid overconsumption.
- Stay hydrated: Have plenty of water and snacks on hand.
- Consent & comfort: Make sure both partners are comfortable with the experience.
Final Thought: When done right, cannabis, wine, and chocolate can create an unforgettable, sensory-rich Valentine’s Day experience!
